Asalaamu alaykum Knowledge Seeker :)
Ramadan Mabrook to you and your family.
I'm Sister Nadia who teaches the KSC classes for young Muslims age 5-10 year olds.
KSC is a weekend club where we learn Islam in a fun and interactive way.
We have been running our weekend club since November 2009 masha'Allah.
Do you want to attend and have lots of fun and learn lots? Then ask your parent/guardian to contact me for more details insha'Allah.
If this is your very first visit on our site then please check out the different sections - with your whole family - and download your FREE worksheets. You can also buy some stickers too. You will like them insha'Allah.
So, are you fasting?
Oh, how many fasts have you kept so far?
How many are you planning to keep this year?
It is very hot this year isn't it?
Masha'Allah, you are doing fantastic - keep it up and may Allah (swt) make it easy for you! KSC gives you a 'Thumbs-Up-Ameen!' :D
I know it can be little bit hard - because it's very hot and the days are very long and we get hungry and thirsty too.
I get hungry and thirsty too!
But then I remind myself that Allah is going to reward me if I keep sabr.
What is 'sabr'? It means being patient when something happens - especially something not so nice or not good and keeping strong faith that Allah will help us.
And Allah will always help us, right?
That's right - He (swt) always will!
This is our first blog post. Insha'Allah a new blog post will go out every Sunday. We also have a newsletter. Ask your parent/guardian to sign-up so you get lots of good news in your email inbox first (before anyone else) and the new weekly blog post.
Would you like to write something for KSC?
Yeah?
Cool!
Guess what?
We have a section here on our site called; 'Kids Write!'
This is where you send me your writings and I publish them on here on our kSC site and everyone in the world reads them.
One day you could write a book too!
So here's some fun homework.
Since it's Ramadan, why not write Ramadan a letter?
I mean Ramadan is like our guest and our guest is here for like only 29 or 30 days.
If your friend came to visit and you gave them a welcome card or letter, what would you write in it? What would you say? How will you treat your guest?
Write a 'Welcome Ramadan' letter and in this letter tell Ramadan how you will treat it, how you will spend your Ramadan, will you pray all your Salah? How much Qur'an will you read each day? What duas will you memorise and learn? How many fasts will you keep? Will you help all the poor children in the world and give them some toys, books and money?
Ramadan is very special for us and with it come lots of mercy and we need to make lots of duas insha'Allah. Will you make lots of duas?
So, write a letter to Ramadan and ask your parent/guardian to email it to me on knowledgeseekersclub@hotmail.com and i will publish your letter in the 'Kids Write!' section.
Next Sunday I will be back to talk more about Ramadan insha'Allah.
Did you like this post? If so, please click the like button and leave me a comment insha'Allah.
Remember though, always ask your parent or guardians permission! :)
See you next Sunday insha'Allah and do email me your Ramadan letter at knowledgeseekersclub@hotmail.com
